In early November, I asked friends and family to call and leave a voicemail on my birthday with thoughts, hopes, a story, a piece of music, a field recording - anything they wished to share. That day, November 7th, 2020, was the day Joe Biden was announced as the winner of the 2020 US election, and the voicemails were filled with hope and joy.

I received over 100 recordings that day and have woven them together into this 34-minute piece, divided into 4 chapters. The day became far more impactful and momentous than I could have planned and this piece serves as an archive, a snapshot, of that day.
